About Meghan

I am a dancer, personal trainer and performer, most recently cast in the Broadway ensemble for Hamilton: An American Musical.

I am also an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. I am currently working with NAMI and AFSP in their respective advocacy programs and have been a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line for over a year.

Throughout my career, there have been several times that I seriously questioned if I was strong enough to do what was being asked of me – if I was even good enough to be there.

After talking with other artists and performers in the industry and learning that this was a common experience, the idea for Inside Out Performance was born.

Inside Out Performance is a fitness and wellness program for performers created by a performer.

Each individualized program combines science based fitness and nutrition techniques with behavioral modification strategies, providing a meaningful, individualized approach to unlocking your full performance potential on and offstage.

About Hope For The Day

Suicide is a preventable mental health crisis. The primary obstacle to suicide prevention is silence.

Proactive suicide prevention means starting the conversation on mental health before it adversely impacts our lives.

Hope For The Day strives to eliminate the highest risk factors of suicide through outreach, mental health education, and community action.

They are introducing and pressing the conversation in communities and raising the visibility of information and resources in order to shatter the silence and dispel stigma surrounding mental health.

About Hope Foods

Hope Foods is on a mission to introduce healthy, high quality and wonderfully flavorful food to the world.

They believe that the simple act of sharing good food can nourish the body as well as the soul. That’s why we make some of the freshest, most flavorful and nutritious hummus, spreads and dips you’ve ever tasted!

That's also why they are committed to Spreading Hope in all its forms, particularly by partnering with Hope For The Day.

Together, they are taking action to prevent suicide by opening the door for honest conversations, educating ourselves and others, creating nutrient rich foods to support a healthy gut, and helping people get access to supportive resources.

Train Your Mind, Just As You Would Train Your Body

When you think, “I am not good enough,” you give yourself permission to become exactly that: not good enough.

Instead, when the workout gets tough, when you might want to quit, give power to a different story: “I am good enough. I can do this.” You are what you give power to.

FAQ

What kind of workout is this?

This workout combines bodyweight and cardio movements targeting your core, legs, glutes and arms.  It is suitable for all fitness levels.

Is it free, or is a donation required?

It's free. Donations are optional and appreciated.

How does this help charity?

The movement is the mission.

One of the most important things we can do to support just about any charity is to just be healthier.  This is especially true for mental health charities like Hope For The Day.  Mental health and physical health are very much connected.  By empowering our bodies, we are empowering our minds, developing resilience, telling ourselves a story about what we give power to.

How else can I help?

Use your personal referral link to invite others to join the workout.

This helps break the silence and stigma around mental health, while actually giving people an actionable resource (a great workout) to improve their own physical and mental health.
