Today, we are thrilled and honored to announce an exciting new partnership with Westin Hotels & Resorts, the go-to hospitality brand known to help runners rise refreshed and keep their routine while on the road.
I travel a LOT! And staying healthy while traveling can be difficult.
That’s why I try to stay at a Westin whenever possible. Their beds are super comfy, so I can wake up feeling refreshed. They have gear lending, so I don’t have to stuff my running shoes into my carry-on. They even have run concierges who will run with me in the morning!
While Westin is dedicated to the well-being of their guests, associates, and community, they also understand that giving back is an important part of feeling good. Which is why we are so thrilled to be partnering with them throughout the rest of 2018. (And hopefully beyond!)
To make things even sweeter, for three months beginning on Global Running Day, June 6th, guests, associates and locals can earn an extra $1/mile for charity (up to $25,000) by working out at any Westin hotel around the world.
Yes, any Westin hotel around the world!
We’ll also be partnering with Westin to serve custom content to travelers when they need it most – on the road, with tips and tricks to stay fit; inspirational podcasts; motivational badges and photo filters for social media.
“At the most basic level, it feels good to do good; and we are seeing this trend among travelers – 60% of those surveyed recently said they are more inclined to exercise if it benefits a good cause,” said Brian Povinelli, SVP & Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts. “Wellness is in the Westin brand’s DNA built on the promise of making it easy to keep your wellness routine when you’re traveling. Today, we believe we can empower the well-being of our guests and associates and make a difference in the communities around us and are thrilled to work with Charity Miles to do just that.”
Thank you, Brian. Thanks to your awesome team. And thanks to everyone at Westin for helping to make this awesome partnership a reality. #LetsRise!
