I say that Tina is a “former” elite marathoner because she recently took some time off from racing at the sport's highest level to start a family.
But she still has some wheels. I recorded this interview in Boston, just a few days before she ran sub-3 in her first marathon back!
Tina's honesty is really special. She's very candid about why she needed to step away from running, and what she hopes to learn now as she comes back.
She also shares some brilliant wisdom on three things we can all do when things just don't go according to plan. One of them, which she calls “mental bottles” is pure gold. (You'll just have to listen.)
